Lt Col Pradeep Khanna

I am sad to inform you about the demise of IC-23225P Lt Col Pradeep Khanna. He left for his heavenly abode at 0400 hrs on 06 Jan 09. For more details please see the email received from DG Sigs Adm, appended below.

In late 70s, Late Col Pradeep Khanna and I were colleagues in Special Signal Regiment (now part of 21 Sig Gp). Pradeep was one of our most sincere and hard working officer and always forthright in his views. Throughout his career he was a ' No nonsense' soldier.

He always displayed very high team spirit and took very keen interest in the trial and evaluation of Signals eqpt under development those days by industry and DRDO. He took pride in looking after all his team members. Socially also Pradeep and his wife Madhu were very popular- always smiling and sporting.

We pray to Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to all near ones and dear ones to bear this irreparable loss.
