In sorrow -
Chander Kamboj.
We are saddened on learning of the sad demise of Col Pingalay. He was my course-mate and we did our YO's course together from Jan-Mar'1963. During our days of interaction I found Colonel Pingalay a simple soul with kind heart, "Malice Towards None and Charity for All" kind. I was doing 17 SODE and, therefore, our interaction with his lady wife was very little. Nonetheless, the couple had been very nice to one and all.
Through this email I and my wife express our great sorrow and deepest condolences to the berieved family. May his soul rest in peace and may the Almighty give courage to the family and in particular to the lady wife to bear this irreparable loss.
We request you to convey this to the berieved family.
In sorrow,
Mrs and Col MG Kapoor
