It was a rare opportunity that I had to serve with a great signaller in Col Pinglay. A very broadminded, cool headed, analytical person with the welfare of all in his mind. He worked not to attain glory and fame, but for the sake of service. Most unassuming person. Very kind hearted. One who left a mark of his generosity linking in your mind. His smile and positive out look made me feel that all is well and future is bright. I was not lucky enough to get to know the great lady who remained a source of inspiration to him at all times.
He will be missed by all of us. May GOD give strength to Uma Pingley, Maya & Vijay and child Tara to bear pain that has to be endured.May GOD be with them always.
