Dear Signallers,
I am sad to inform you about the demise of a very young serving Signals Officer, IC-67291X, Capt Varun Chhibber. He was serving in J&K with Rashtriya Rifles. He was on a patrol duty when he died around midday, on 02 Feb. Exact cause of death could not be ascertained by me. Next of Kin: Col MP Chibber(Father).
The cremation will take place on 04 Feb 09, at 09.30 hrs at the Noida Cremation Ground (As one proceeds from Noida towards New Delhi, via the Yamuna barrage and via Kalandi Kunj, there is a road going left just before the Yamuna barrage. The cremation ground is located on this road, about 1 km away from the main highway going from Noida to Kalandi Kunj).
